This is your last chance to view SFMOMA’s (@sfmoma) exhibition “Suzanne Jackson: What Is Love,” on view through March 1.

For more than six decades, Suzanne Jackson (@suzannejackson7268) has shaped the contemporary arts landscape through work grounded in nature, movement, and spirit. In its final weeks, this major retrospective reflects on her expansive creative practice, spanning painting, dance, poetry, and theater design.

Raised in San Francisco and influenced by the city’s visual language, Jackson went on to make history in 1968 by founding Gallery 32 in Los Angeles, becoming the first Black woman to own and operate a gallery in the city.

Featuring more than 80 works from the 1960s to today, What Is Love offers a powerful and intimate view of her groundbreaking vision and enduring legacy.

Plan your visit now to experience this exhibition at SFMOMA before it closes on March 1.
