Réalisé par Sally Wainwright et produit par dramarepublic, Riot Women suit cinq femmes qui, accompagnées de deux choristes survoltées, montent un groupe de punk rock improvisé pour participer à un concours local. En écrivant leur première chanson originale, elles découvrent vite qu’elles ont beaucoup à exprimer, et que la musique devient pour elles un véritable exutoire 🎸
 
Entre travail prenant, enfants devenus grands, parents difficiles, maris fuyants et rendez-vous catastrophiques, le groupe agit comme un véritable catalyseur et les pousse à remettre leur vie en question.

Directed by Sally Wainwright and produced by dramarepublic, Riot Women follows five women who, joined by two electrifying backing singers, form an impromptu punk rock band to enter a local competition. As they write their first original song, they quickly realise they have a lot to say, and that music becomes their way of expressing it 🎸

While juggling demanding jobs, grown up children, difficult parents, runaway husbands and disastrous dates, the band becomes a catalyst for change and pushes them to question everything in their lives.
