Here’s what Theta means to them: 
“Having moved to Florida four years ago after spending my entire life living abroad, and then coming to UConn, I never imagined I would find myself joining a sorority. Looking back, it has truly been one of the best decisions I’ve made in college (and yes, I actually mean that). One of the things I love most about Theta is the incredible sense of belonging and acceptance I’ve felt since day one. No matter where we come from or what our backgrounds are, everyone brings something unique to the chapter, and that’s what makes our sisterhood so special.
I am forever grateful for the lifelong friendships Theta has given me. Through this chapter, I met one of my best friends, Lucy, and I honestly can’t imagine my college experience without her. Anyone who knows Lucy knows she lights up every room she walks into with her positive energy, kindness, and personality. She’s the type of person who can make anyone laugh, and somehow always manages to make every day a little more fun. The people are what have made Theta so special to me.” nadia.kharma 

“I have no doubt that joining Theta will be one of the best decisions I will make during my time at UConn. Just within my first year, I have met so many girls I now cannot imagine a life without! I always feel surrounded by their love, support, hard-work, and laughter. I was lucky enough to find a big who I also can call my best friend! Nadia inspires me to become a better person everyday through her strength, optimism, and so much more. Being around these girls has truly helped me make the most of every moment, even when we are studying, grabbing food, or even just walking to class.
