Max Clark is one of the top young players in the Detroit Tigers organization. After being drafted third overall in 2023, he impressed in Triple-A by batting .276 with 11 home runs and 21 stolen bases before earning his first MLB call-up. In his MLB debut, Clark went 3-for-3 with two doubles, proving he was ready for the major leagues.

One of Clark’s funniest moments came during the 2026 Spring Breakout game against top pitching prospect Seth Hernandez. After seeing a 102.4 mph fastball on the first pitch, Clark stepped out of the batter’s box and mouthed, “What the f*?”** The reaction quickly went viral, and Clark later joked that the pitch looked like “a beam of light.”

Max Clark is known for his speed, defense, and mature approach at the plate. Many scouts believe he has the talent to become an MLB All-Star and a key player for the Detroit Tigers in the future.
