Is the Bruins center corps a Major Weakness? 🤔

According to the Athletic’s Harman Dayal, he listed the Bruins top centers of Pavel Zacha, Fraser Minten and Elias Lindholm as one of the WORST center groups in the entire NHL in an 8-category tier-list 😳

"The Bruins have lacked a true 1C since Patrice Bergeron’s retirement.

Zacha performed impressively last season, hitting the 30-goal mark. And it’s noteworthy that he accomplished that feat while barely playing alongside David Pastrnak. With that said, Zacha is clearly a 2C-caliber player rather than a bona fide No. 1...

Minten or Lindholm will likely be Boston’s other top-six center. Minten enjoyed a solid breakout season with 35 points. He’s young enough that he could certainly take another step, but I’m not sure how much untapped offensive upside he truly has...I’m not quite ready to anoint him as a top-six-caliber center.

Lindholm, on the other hand, is clearly a 3C-caliber player. He brings a lot of defensive value, but he simply can’t drive offense the way he used to, and even the 48 points he scored last season are inflated by all the time he spent playing with Pastrnak.” — h/t Dayal, the Athletic
