Bus travel will be free for U16s throughout England in August - but how does it work?
 
If you're aged 11 to 15 are allowed to travel on their own. They just need to tell the driver where they're going and the driver will issue a free ticket and those under 11 will need to be accompanied by an adult.
 
Those who look a bit older may need to show some sort of identification, however.
