## Caption

A yard sale stretching 690 miles through six states begins this Thursday, and I’m taking you with me.

The World’s Longest Yard Sale is not one neatly organized event. It’s more like an accumulation of sales in front yards, church parking lots, fields, barns and enormous vendor stops along the route from Alabama to Michigan. You can find ordinary household stuff at one table and a legitimately valuable antique painting at the next.

I’ll be shopping the sale and sharing the best, strangest and most valuable things I encounter along the way. Follow along to see what I find and all the cool places I discover!
