Yesterday was Tu B’Av — the Jewish holiday of love. Our version of Valentine’s Day.

We didn’t do anything special. There were two babies, three big kids, a full house, and another day that looked exactly like the one before it.

But I did pause. For a minute, in the middle of all of it, I just — paused.

Eighteen years ago we were in Israel. Before we were even together. Before any of this existed.

We were just two people on a beach who didn’t know yet what they were beginning.

Happy Tu B’Av. To the girl I fell in love with before I knew I was falling. 🇮🇱🤍
