Released back in 1979, The Frisco Kid remains one of the most underrated gems in Gene Wilder’s  filmography (if you know, you know).

On paper, a 19th century Western comedy about a rabbi crossing the American frontier with a bank robber (played by a young Harrison Ford) sounded risky. Audiences weren’t exactly lining up at the box office for it at the time, but the film has since become an absolute cult classic for a reason. Have you seen this masterpiece?
