LinkedIn finally found a name for what everyone was seeing.

LinkedIn is rolling out a new button that lets users flag posts that “seem like AI slop.”

The option appears in the three-dot menu on posts, and when users report something, LinkedIn can use that feedback to improve its feed.

The company is also adding new systems to detect low-quality AI content and reduce how often it appears, especially from accounts outside your network.

This comes after reports found a huge amount of LinkedIn long-form content may already be AI-generated.

The irony is pretty funny:

AI helped flood LinkedIn with generic posts.

Now LinkedIn is using AI and user reports to clean it up.
