The Miami Dolphins are a completely different football team heading into the 2026 NFL season. Tua Tagovailoa is now competing with Michael Penix Jr. to play quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons and throw balls to Drake London, Kyle Pitts, and Bijan Robinson. Tyreek Hill is now an NFL free agent, and NFL coach Mike McDaniel is now with the Los Angeles Chargers, leading the offense of Justin Herbert, Omarion Hampton, and Ladd McConkey. Former Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley is the head coach and Malik Willis takes over at QB. Miami’s football roster has been completely rebuilt from the team last year that had stars like Jaylen Waddle who now joins the Denver Broncos alongside Courtland Sutton to catch passes from Bo Nix, De’Von Achane, Bradley Chubb, Jaelan Phillips, and Jalen Ramsey. 

NFL fans don’t have high expectations. This doesn’t feel like a team built to make a deep playoff run to stack up against the Buffalo Bills, New York Jets, or New England Patriots in the AFC East. 2026 looks like a reset and rebuild season for the NFL franchise. The rest of their players include Quinn Ewers, Cam Miller, Jaylen Wright, Ollie Gordon, Malik Washington, Jalen Tolbert, Chris Bell, Tutu Atwell, Greg Dulcich, Patrick Paul, Kadyn Proctor, Aaron Brewer, and Austin Jackson.
