Twin Falls police have confirmed that the shooter is also dead, appearing to be from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The shooter's identity and motive have not yet been determined.⁣

Witnesses described chaos as customers and employees fled the busy shopping plaza, with one man returning fire on the gunman and bystanders helping drag a wounded employee to safety until paramedics arrived. ⁣

Video footage showed what appeared to be a young man with a long gun outside the In-N-Out Burger, and imagery posted to social media showed more than a dozen people running out of the restaurant.⁣

The shooting comes just days after a shooting at a food festival in Seattle, which left three dead and four injured.⁣
