Amid extreme heat and worsening wmo_omm forecasts for the coming months, UN Secretary-General antonioguterres warns that unless we #ActNow to protect people and tackle the root causes of the crisis it will become deadlier still.

“Extreme heat is claiming lives on a growing scale, widening inequalities, deepening hunger, weakening economies, and pushing development further out of reach,” the Secretary-General says, calling for more #ClimateAction.
