I’ll die on this hill... aging isn’t making women less beautiful. Fear of aging is. 💯

For a long time, I thought I was watching my beauty disappear.

I thought it’s the menopause. I  took care of myself and felt my body was betraying me.  But looking back, I wasn’t simply aging… I was living through a very long winter season. I was living in Beauty Burnout! 

A season shaped by chronic stress, fear, and a tumultuous relationship that quietly drained my vitality. My body reflected it. I became depleted, developed  kidney stones, watched deep dark circles appear beneath my eyes, inflammation, pain in my body and it felt like nothing  could restore what my inner world was asking for OR it was short lived. 

It might be summer where you are... But you may be living through a winter season within like I was. 

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, winter is connected to the Water element and the Kidney/Bladder  system—our deepest reserves of vitality, resilience, and life force. That understanding became one of the inspirations behind Beauty Is an Inside Job®: Winter Edition, where I explore the connection between our inner seasons, midlife, aging, beauty and the vitality that truly shapes how we look and feel.

Maybe the most beautiful women aren’t the ones trying to outrun time. They’re the ones learning how to nourish themselves through every season. When you have a strong vitality you naturally look younger! 💫
