Wikipedia built a guide to expose AI writing. 

Here's how to use it so you never get caught.

Wikipedia editors got flooded with AI edits, so they published a guide documenting every giveaway pattern, overused words, repetitive structures, formatting habits.

The twist: a document listing every AI tell also shows exactly what to avoid to sound human.

Here's what I did: pasted the entire guide into Claude, told it to treat every pattern as a rule to never break, then saved it as a reusable skill using Claude's skill-building feature. 

Now I call it up before any writing task.

Even Wikipedia's editors admit these signs aren't perfect, but as a checklist, it's genuinely useful.
