And both are equally important. 

Proverbs 27:17 reminds us, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." 

Game night isn't just fun. It's formation. 

It's where we learn to win without gloating. To lose without despairing. To take turns. To cheer for each other. To laugh together. 

In a world of screens and isolation, sitting around a board game is a quiet act of resistance. It says: we choose presence over distraction. We choose each other over algorithms. 

The best discipleship sometimes happens over a game of cards, not a sermon.
