Imagine someone figuring out what you’re typing just by listening to the sound of your keyboard.

It sounds like something out of Black Mirror, but researchers have shown that AI can identify keystrokes from keyboard audio with surprisingly high accuracy under certain conditions.

In this video, I explain how the attack works, why it matters, and how researchers trained AI to recognize individual key presses using only a short audio recording.
