Do you know someone in your circle of friends who’s into feet or shoes?
Spoiler: that person is scientifically… completely normal.
And no, that’s not an opinion –
that’s the current state of research.
My name is Markus M. Mey, author of the book Am I Normal? Understanding feet and shoe obsession,
available in English and German on Amazon.
Let’s get into it.
A lot of people still think
that this kind of obsession is somehow “not normal.”
Because they don’t understand it.
Because they don’t feel it themselves.
But that’s exactly where something has changed.
The World Health Organization – the WHO –
has made it clear in the new classification system, the ICD-11:
These kinds of obsessions are no longer automatically considered abnormal.
Why?
Because they occur so frequently
that they are now seen as part of normal human sexuality.
Which means very simply:
Someone who’s into feet or shoes…
is not “different” in a scientific sense.
Just a person
with a specific kind of passion.
And maybe that’s the point
a lot of people still don’t get:
Not everything you don’t feel yourself
is automatically abnormal. Right?
So if you know someone
who has this kind of obsession…
send them this video.
It might be exactly what they needed to hear.
See you in the next one.
