The NASCAR Cup Series schedule has looked a little different over the past two seasons

In 2025, the schedule had just one off weekend, with 28 consecutive weekends of racing from late April through the season finale. In 2026, NASCAR added a second off week, giving the Cup Series breaks on Easter weekend and again after the In-Season Challenge, right before the regular season's final stretch
