Celebrate those who have impacted your life! Coach Compton brought the best out of me. I know that for a fact. His program would either make you tough as nails, or make you run away 😂 because the old cowboy method may not be for everyone - but I’m glad I was up for the challenge. It was the best thing that ever happened to me as a young, developing athlete who needed some tough love and a solid base of training the fundamentals - those things are still paying off for me today as I continue my career. Meanwhile, I hope you’re enjoying the golf course every damn day, Coach! Happy retirement, from Compton’s Crew. 🫶🏻 Last night, we threw him a surprise party and took a walk down memory lane, with 27 years of former Arkansas pole vaulters coming together one last time.
