Hi! I’m Sandi. Let me re-introduce myself. Sometimes I feel the details of who we are get lost in the new, perfectly polished Instagram photos. Let’s take it back. 

I’m a HUGE animal lover! (Self) certified horse girl 😂🥰 I love all animals, even the scaly ones, feathery, and slimy skinned ones like newts😊. My DREAM JOB would be to have a show on animalplanet 😍 Maybe someday… a girl can dream, right? 

I have two sisters, Crissy and Jami, one brother-in-law, and a niece and a nephew. Oh! And of course, my amazing husband, iflynowings who supports my wildest dreams. I should probably also mention my parents who gifted me with their athleticism. (Thanks mom and dad 😉). I was born in Illinois, but we moved to South Carolina when I was just 3 and I was raised in the south by midwestern parents. Meaning… my accent can’t decide if it’s southern or not. I guess it depends on my company and if I have had a glass of wine… that’s when the twang comes out. 😅 I dabble in just about everything, from music 🎶 (I play violin, guitar, and sing), to building things for my many pets, to sometimes painting and drawing. I went to the uarkansas and proudly competed there from 2012-2015, following my high school years at cityofgreenvillesc ‘s Greenville High School. 

I’m a GOOFBALL, but take my job very seriously and am dedicated as anyone. I want to make my family, fans, and country 🇺🇸 proud.

I’m a bit of an adrenaline junky, so I guess that’s how I landed myself in the pole vault. So, make sure to tune into the 2025 worldathletics Championships! I will be competing tomorrow in the pole vault prelims at 8pm EST 🇺🇸, and the finals ( 🤞🏼🫶🏻 ) Wednesday at 7am EST. I’m so thankful for your love and support! 💗
