Could NFL teams lose access to critical game-day content?

Teams around the league are raising concerns about recently approved changes to league digital media rules, arguing the updates could limit how clubs create and monetize content around game days.

The biggest point of contention is a broader definition of "league-owned content," which some teams believe could extend NFL control beyond game action to virtually all audio and video captured inside stadiums on game day.

If interpreted that way, it could impact popular team-produced content such as player introductions, sideline interviews, hype videos and mic’d-up features — many of which are tied to sponsorship revenue.
