What makes a wine destination unforgettable? 🤔🍷✈️

If you’re visiting Alba, Piemonte, you’ll come across a project that perfectly answers this question. 🇮🇹

Founded by sommeliers Pierandrea Palumbo and Chiara Finotti, oneonthehill is a wine and food community built around one simple idea: helping visitors experience Piemonte through the people, traditions and flavours that define it.

From sommelier-led wine tours 🍷 and private dinners 🍽️ to cooking classes 👨‍🍳, truffle hunts 🍄, artisan food experiences 🧀 and boutique stays 🏡, every experience is thoughtfully curated to help you connect with the region—not just visit it.

And the journey doesn’t end when you head home.

Through the One on the Hill Wine Club 🍷, members receive carefully selected, small-production wines from Barolo, Barbaresco, Roero and other hidden gems across Northern Italy, bringing the region—and the stories behind every bottle—straight to their doorstep.

What impressed me most wasn't what they offer. It was why they built it. oneonthehill is a great reminder that wine tourism isn't defined by the number of experiences on offer, but by the connections those experiences create. 🤝

Whether you're planning your next trip to Piemonte 🚗 or designing experiences of your own, there's a lot to learn from this project.

✨ Save this post for your next trip to Piemonte, or if you're looking for inspiration on how unforgettable wine tourism is designed.

Much love, G. 💋💋
