Federal agencies have quietly deleted data on police misconduct, prison demographics, & juvenile justice disparities. States are moving to lock down public records too.

Today, we joined @centerforjustjournalism and @publicjustice_ to release "For the Record," a toolkit to help journalists (or anyone!) find criminal legal data & file effective records requests before it's gone.
