The mission was simple: play the opening hole at all 18 municipal golf courses in Los Angeles before the sun went down. The reality? Convincing pro shops to squeeze us in, sprinting between greens and parking lots, racing across the city in our rally car, and hoping the clock never caught up with us. Along the way we met golfers from every walk of life, learned the history behind LA's legendary muni courses, and were reminded why public golf is so special.
