The former Congresswoman, who rose to prominence during the Ferguson protests and became the first Black woman to represent Missouri in Congress, lost her rematch against Rep. Wesley Bell. AIPAC spent $8 million to help unseat her after she became one of the fiercest critics of Israel's war in Gaza while in office.

Bell says the race should be about Missouri, not the Middle East. Bush's supporters say outside money bought the outcome.
