Hey Mom and Dad. Imagine yourself in a situation that is difficult. For me…that’s putting a piece of IKEA furniture together. Now imagine your significant other is watching you put that piece of furniture together anxiously. Begging and pleading for EVERY move of your wrench to be perfection. Fill in the blank with parallels to “Throw Strikes” or “Just like you do in practice” chants. 

Does it feel good? Are you enjoying the process? Is it making you perform better?
