⭐️ Watch the video to learn how to perform this technique correctly, and read the caption below to understand why lymphatic drainage is one of the most important steps in a lifting facial.

1. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN FLUID BUILDS UP IN THE FACE?

The face naturally contains lymphatic fluid. Under normal conditions, this fluid is continuously collected by the lymphatic system and returned to the circulation.

When this process slows down, excess fluid can remain in the tissues.
As a result, the face may appear puffier, heavier, and less defined, making its natural contours less visible.

Why Does It Matter?

If the tissues are holding excess fluid, they become heavier and more difficult to lift.

⭐️Even the best lifting techniques cannot
perform at their full potential if the tissues are still weighed down.

What Can We Do?

The lymphatic system does not have a pump like the heart. It depends on muscle activity, breathing, body movement, and gentle external stimulation to help move lymphatic fluid.

Using light, precise hand movements, we can support this natural process by encouraging excess fluid to move toward the lymphatic vessels, where the body can process it naturally.

What Is the Result?

As excess fluid is reduced, the tissues become lighter and the natural contours of the face become more visible.
This creates the ideal foundation for the lifting massage that follows.

For this reason, I always begin a lifting facial with lymphatic drainage. By preparing the tissues first, the lifting techniques that follow can produce a more sculpted, more defined, and naturally lifted appearance.
