For Kate Glantz, opportunity is a pathway into the next chapter.

One of Kate’s most recent chapters led her to the carpentry program at Mesa Community College, where she picked up a tool for the first time and discovered a new vision for what the construction industry could look like with more women. A storyteller at heart and by trade, Kate saw an opportunity to help reshape the narrative.

That led Kate to her latest adventure: Move Over Bob — a media company, magazine, and community dedicated to highlighting women in construction and the skilled trades. Because it’s hard to become what you can’t see, she’s showing women that there is a place for them in the trades.
