Cheers to 90 years of our beloved blues icon, Buddy Guy! 🎉🎸

Known for his electrifying guitar playing, soulful vocals, and unforgettable live performances, Buddy Guy remains one of the 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 pioneers of the world-famous Chicago blues.

Buddy moved to Chicago in 1957, working as a tow truck driver by day and playing blues clubs by night before being discovered by Muddy Waters. The rest is 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆.

With nine Grammy Awards, a Lifetime Achievement Award, 37 Blues Music Awards, a Kennedy Center Honor, the National Medal of Arts, a place on Rolling Stone‘s “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time,” and a memorable cameo in the hit film Sinners, Buddy Guy’s legacy continues to grow.

Want to experience that legacy for yourself? Visit Buddy Guy’s Legends, his Chicago blues club in the South Loop. There, nightly local, national, and international blues music fills the stage seven nights a week. For years, Buddy has even held a month-long residency at the club every January. It’s a must-visit for every music lover and history enthusiast visiting Chicago. 🎶🎤

Happy 90th birthday, Buddy! ❤️
