Patrick Abad and the Beaver Toyota of Cumming team didn’t build one of the industry’s strongest operations by guessing. So when GM announced a major shift in how dealers sell pre-owned vehicles, we wanted his take.

GM is pushing dealers toward its CarBravo platform while expanding what can qualify for factory-backed warranties. The change could allow even non-GM vehicles, some up to 15 years old, to carry coverage.

For Abad, the value is simple: confidence.

When two similar used cars are on the lot, the one backed by a strong certified warranty usually wins the customer.
