🏠 Did you know you can have a “Venice” mailing address without living within the City of Venice limits?
 
Don’t be mad at us — we didn’t assign the ZIP codes or decide to call the entire region Venice (or Nokomis, depending on how long you’ve lived here)! 🫣

A “Venice” address may be located in unincorporated Sarasota County, including areas commonly known as North, South or East Venice. Some Venice addresses are even within the City of North Port. 🗺
 
Why does it matter? Your location determines who provides your drinking water, treats your wastewater, collects your trash and recycling, sets your rates and fees, and answers your service questions.
