Harris praised Plaskett’s proven leadership, her ability to deliver results, and expressed confidence in the Plaskett-Potter ticket to lead the territory forward. 🔺🐘👩🏽‍⚖️🇻🇮

Plaskett has represented the U.S. Virgin Islands in Congress since 2015, where she has been a strong advocate for the territory on issues ranging from disaster recovery and infrastructure to healthcare, education, economic development, and Caribbean partnerships. An attorney by trade, she also made history as the first non-voting member of Congress to serve as a House impeachment manager during President Donald Trump’s second impeachment trial. 

Virgin Islanders will head to the polls for the Democratic primary on August 1, with the general election scheduled for November 3, 2026.
