## Caption

A high rating based on only a handful of reviews is much less reliable than a slightly lower rating based on thousands of reviews. This is because small samples are far more affected by chance. If only 19 people leave reviews, a few unusually positive experiences can easily produce a perfect 5.0. But after 2,280 reviews, the average becomes much harder to shift and is far more likely to reflect the true quality. In statistics, larger sample sizes reduce random variation and make estimates more trustworthy.
