Heather is paired virtually with Szymon, a North Carolina resident from Poland working toward his U.S. citizenship. Their weekly study sessions are about more than practicing English and memorizing American history—they swap stories, joke about English idioms, and bond over their love for local barbecue. 

Nearly 9 million green card holders in the U.S. are eligible for citizenship. You can be the person, like Heather, cheering an aspiring American across the finish line to earn citizenship.
