FIFA World Cup 2026™  just broke every tournament record for attendance and viewership, and I partnered with VerizonBusiness to see the network running underneath it all. 🌎⚽

I spent a day going behind the scenes to learn how they powered the tech behind it. Stadiums hit 99.7% capacity this tournament, over 6.25 million people through the gates, and none of that works without the infrastructure that nobody in the crowd ever thinks about. There’s 80,000+ miles of fiber, private 5G in every stadium, all of it running so the rest of us can watch a game from our couch without a second thought!
