What a blessing it is to be able to teach my daughter the benefits of daily movement 

I grew up in a world where chasing skinny was the goal 
Strong wasn’t cute, it was masculine 
My legs were always “too big” 
Lifting weights was “for the boys” 

So I’m raising my daughter to know the truth 

That moving your body should make you FEEL good 
That strong is sexy 
That the way you look is the least interesting thing about yourself 
And that prioritizing your HEALTH is the goal
