#TSRHBCUuuuuKnow: Roommates, today more than 3,000 Georgia high school juniors and seniors got a major boost toward their college dreams thanks to the women of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. During their HBCU Impact Day, the organziation connected students with admissions reps from more than 50 HBCUs, explored academic programs, and gave students a firsthand look at college life.

DST partnered with the Common Black College Application to cover application fees for approximately 3,200 students, allowing them to apply to up to 65 HBCUs through one application, helping remove a major financial barrier for families. The event also featured performances from Jackson State University’s “Sonic Boom of the South” Marching Band, a panel of HBCU presidents, career workshops, a college fair, a pep rally, voter registration resources, and community service activities. 💪🏾 #TSRStaffAS 📹: @daniebtrippin @v103atlanta
