The convictions stemmed from robberies committed while he was a student at Michigan State University in 2014. Tee said the felonies had previously cost him performance opportunities, business deals and access to certain insurance policies.

After the hearing, Tee also spoke to teens graduating from Ingham County’s juvenile weapons court program, encouraging them to make the most of their second chance.
