Another brilliant day using tennis to bring communities together 🎾🤝🏾

Yesterday, Black Tennis Mentors was proud to partner with the LTA to deliver the tennis activation and tournament at the Sikh Games.

It was fantastic to see our coaches and activators step into new roles, gaining valuable experience in both community delivery and tournament facilitation. Opportunities like these are vital in developing the next generation of coaches, giving them hands-on experience in delivering competitions while continuing to make tennis more accessible and inclusive.

A massive shout out to our incredible BTM coaching team, who represented the organisation with professionalism, enthusiasm and energy from start to finish. 

A huge thank you to the entire Sikh Games team for delivering such an incredible celebration of sport, culture and community. A special mention has to go to Sahej who leads Sikh Tennis for a phenomenal job organising the entire tennis competition. Coordinating an event of that scale is no easy task, but everything ran incredibly smoothly, and that’s a real testament to all the hard work behind the scenes.

Finally, thank you to Alexis and the LTA for the opportunity and for your continued commitment to opening up tennis and transforming communities through tennis. We’re proud to be part of this journey and look forward to continuing to build this partnership and creating even more opportunities together.
