Triple H spoke to media at the SummerSlam post-show press conference on Saturday night at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, following Night 1.

Asked about Brie Bella, who was seen holding her right shoulder at the end of the six-woman tag match, he said she had been taken to hospital.

"She's injured. I don't have an update yet," Triple H said. "She got some treatment here, has been taken to the hospital to get some scans done. Hurt a shoulder. Seems pretty bad, but I don't have that answer yet. Hopefully it won't be as bad as we thought it was."

On Brock Lesnar, who lost to Oba Femi inside Hell in a Cell and endorsed him afterward: "This is the future, and I'm the past. That's a pretty bold statement. Brock doesn't just say things. I would take what he said at face value."

He said Lesnar is underrated technically: "He's not looked at when you talk about the greats in the business. I would put him up there as one of the best of all time, psychology wise, in ring performance wise." He added that a new star is born in Femi.

On Nick Aldis, who wrestled his first match in three years against Gunther and was reinstated as SmackDown general manager: "He looked like a million bucks. To have that moment out of nowhere, to have a crowd chant your name, to have your wife, your son there. I was pretty emotional watching it happen for him."

Asked whether Aldis would wrestle again: "Never say never. You put on performances like that, it certainly doesn't make people not want to see you."

On opening the show with Liv Morgan and Iyo Sky: "I put Iyo and Liv there because I knew they would crush it in that spot, and they did. You can make an argument they stole the night." He called the idea that talent are insulted by card placement a fantasy narrative fans have made over time.

Asked about newer talent moving up: "There are no turns. If somebody is getting over more than somebody else, we move that person into the spot. Are you more over than Cody? Are you more over than Roman? If you want the spot, go take it."
