“Joining ZTA was by far the easiest and best decision I have made. Growing up with an older sister, who was a Zeta at Charlotte, and coming to college knowing no one, I immediately knew I wanted to join a sorority and find a sisterhood of my own. Before walking into each sorority during recruitment, my nerves were through the roof. But as soon as I walked into Zeta, those nerves disappeared. The girls that welcomed me at the door instantly made me feel comfortable, it felt like we had known each other for years. Every conversation I had made me want to join Zeta even more. I saw the way they genuinely showed up for one another, the strong leadership within the chapter, and the close-knit sisterhood I was hoping to find. Zeta’s values aligned so perfectly with my own, and I knew this was where I was meant to be. 

Now being a member, I am so thankful for the endless opportunities ZTA has given me. I am proud to serve as the Vice President of Philanthropy and Service and to have such an incredible support system by my side. Zeta quickly became my home away from home, and these women became some of my closest friends. I will always be grateful for the memories, experiences, leadership opportunities, and lifelong friendships that Zeta has given me.” - a_kefalas
