What. A. Race. Clifford Pointer III entered the Boys 9-year-old 400m finals with a personal best of 1:02.24. Pointer absolutely SHATTERED that PB, taking the National Title and National Record in a time of 58.70. Kitai Jones was close behind in second, also running a huge PB of 58.95. Collegian Jonathan Simms held the previous record of 59.25, set in 2016.
