Everybody wants to be a great shooter. Almost nobody wants to be a consistent one. 

There's a difference. Great is a highlight. Consistent is a habit — same feet, same follow-through, same shot when you're fresh and when your legs are gone in the fourth quarter. 

Coaches don't build offenses around players who might make shots. They build around players they can count on. Consistency isn't a gift. It's a decision you make every single rep.
