It’s hard to believe that it’s been four years since LIFE IS GOOD won the prestigious GI Whitney Stakes at Saratoga in 2022 🌟 It was one of four Grade I victories he’d collect in his 12-start career, earning $4,541,700.

Retiring at the end of 2022, Life Is Good joined the stallion roster at WinStar Farm and now, his first 2-year-olds are on the track in 2026 and proving themselves to be quite precocious ✨ 

Come along with us as we check in with Life Is Good and experience what a morning is like in the life of this champion during the off-season. At WinStar Farm, some of the stallions are exercised under saddle, outside of breeding season, to maintain their fitness. Though it was a common practice back in the day, WinStar is one of the few remaining farms to ride their stallions in the off-season in Kentucky. 

Safe to say that despite his years away from the track, Life Is Good doesn’t miss a beat!
