Meet our VP of Membership, Mae Mae! 

“Hi everyone! My name is Mae Mae Voltz, and I’m a junior from Montgomery, AL. This year I have been honored to serve as Kappa’s Vice President of Membership. I am so excited for recruitment to finally be here, and to get to meet each and every one of you! I have loved every minute of this leadership role and getting to prepare for recruitment alongside Ceci and Ella Kat. I’m so proud of everything we have prepared over the last few months, and I can’t wait to welcome the next group of girls into our sisterhood! 

Coming to Alabama, I never could have imagined how much this sisterhood would shape my college experience. It feels just like yesterday I was walking into Kappa for the very first time as a freshman. From living in the Kappa house my sophomore year, game days, date parties, and all the little everyday moments in between, I feel so lucky to have met so many incredible people through Kappa. I have gained many lifelong friendships, memories I’ll cherish forever, and opportunities that have helped me grow so much as a person and leader.

To everyone going through recruitment this year, this is YOUR week and YOUR decision. Choose the place where you feel seen, celebrated, and completely yourself, just like I did with Kappa! Don’t get caught up in the pressure, trust your gut, and enjoy every moment. Know that everything truly works out the way it’s meant to be. These next few weeks are going to be so special, and I am beyond excited for you to experience it. I seriously cannot wait to meet you all and show you what Kappa is all about! As always, KAPPA’S IT!!! 💙”
