## Caption

For decades, scientists believed the immune system naturally weakens as we age. Georgia Tech researchers have discovered a way to deliver molecular instructions to “exhausted” T cells — restoring the ability to multiply and fight diseases.

Silicon nanowires deliver new biological instructions without damaging the cells — producing effects that last about two weeks. The body’s cells still grow older, but now they may not have to act like it. #WeCanDoThat 🐝🔬
