When I was 19 my hair started falling out☹️

I went to my doctor.

The answer I got was Rogaine.

And what did I do?

I was 19. I blindly followed it. 

No questions asked, because that’s what you do, right? The doctor said it, so it must be true.

Nobody asked about my diet.

Little did I know I was nowhere close to enough protein.

SIBO was quietly wrecking my gut.

And a gluten intolerance was sitting underneath the whole thing, untested, unnamed.

Hair loss was never the problem.

It was the smoke.

The fire was happening in my labs, in my gut, in what my body had been trying to tell me the whole time.

Except I had NO idea 🤷‍♀️ what to test for and what to do.

Here’s the thing.

I am grateful for Western medicine. 

When I gave birth to my son I needed EVERY single drug they gave me. 

Childbirth is NO joke.😳🤨

Same if you get into an accident. Same if you need surgery. That is what it is there for, and thank god it is there.

But someone with seven minutes and a prescription pad was never going to find SIBO. 

Was never going to ask about protein. 

Was never going to test for gluten.

That is not a doctor’s job.

That's mine.

It is our responsibility to take radical ownership of our health.

Not to hand the power to a flawed medical system, and "hope" they figure it out for us.

That is what I help with.

Cutting through the wellness noise.

Finding the protocol that actually works for YOUR body.

Until it stops being a protocol, and just becomes how you live.
