Barley Creek Brewery in Tannersville, PA!

I loves me a good brewery!! Breweries are such fun, laid back, family friendly restaurants. But since they have so much to do there too I always feel like a visit to a brewery is both a meal and an activity. I always look for them when traveling with our kids. Or honestly… no matter what. 

I was so excited to find Barley Creek Brewery. This place had not only the usual vibe of a brewery but they took it a step further building a whole Pint Size Park or mini baseball field for their guests. I couldn’t wait to take my baseball and softball playing family there on our way home from a fun weekend nearby. My kids spent a LOT of time playing Wiffle ball with a whole team of strangers also enjoying a nice night. It was so enjoyable to watch.

Not only was the food delicious (look at the size of that nacho platter!), but the staff was friendly and the plentiful drinks were really creative. They are actually a brewery and a distillery so they had beer, wine, and really innovative liquor. 

As usual, half the fun of going to a brewery is playing with all the lawn toys and barleycreekbrewing had quite the representation. Besides ping pong tables, pickleball courts, corn hole, and giant games, there was a whole separate s’mores area, an entire outdoor Biergarten with TVs and fire pits, and endless things to do. 

We were very excited to spend the last night of our little vacation here and even more so as we rolled up under 10% and saw an electric car charger in their parking lot (phew!). 

Barley Creek Brewery is located right by all the most popular Poconos attractions and very much worth a stop while visiting the area.
