I went to check out Ottawa’s new swimming dock at the Canadian Museum of History, and it’s easy to see why it’s already become a summer hit! 🌊☀️

With stunning views of Parliament, this floating dock is one of Ottawa’s coolest places to cool off on a hot summer day. It’s spacious, has plenty of lounge chairs, and even features a platform in the middle of the water where both kids and adults can jump in. It reminded me a lot of the NCC River House!

Things to know before you go:
✔️ Admission is FREE
✔️ Lifejackets are available to borrow
⚠️ There are no lifeguards on duty. Swim at your own risk.
🐶 No dogs allowed on the dock
🚻 There are no washrooms nearby
🍔 There are no food trucks on site
